We are very happy to announce the forthcoming international colloqium in Lecce on the ‘Byzantine Heritage of Southern Italy project’ (PRIN 2017). The programme will soon be published and, apart from the project members, includes many such distinguished scholars of Byzantium and the Middle Ages such as Salvatore Cosentino, Archie Dunn, Vera von Falkenhausen, Cécile Morrisson, Annick Peters-Custot, Johannes Preisier-Kappeler, Vivien Prigent, Marco Valenti, Enrico Zanini.
